STELLA ADLER DOWN UNDER

Screen Actors Australia is bringing the acting coaches from the world renowned Stella Adler Theatre institute in Hollywood to train actors in Melbourne This August..

These amazing instructors will be conducting a series of weekend workshops in Improvisation and Scene Study at the Arts House, Meat Market in Blackwood Street, North Melbourne on Sat. and Sun.  21^st & 22^nd August and 28^th & 29th August.

The workshops will be held over two days. All actors will spend one day working on improv. and a second day on scene study.

Any actor wanting to get the latest training from the best in Hollywood must book into one of these weekends. The fee is $495.00 ( GST inc)

THE IMPROV. SESSION

Pat Dade has been teaching Improvisation at Stella Adler since 1998. She is a former member of  “Groundlings” Improvisation company and had numerous roles in Film and TV in the US.  Her improv. sessions use theatre games, improv. exercises and scene work to leap past boundaries into strong choices in role playing, characterization and interrelating.

THE SCENE STUDY SESSION

Tim Craig studied acting and script analysis personally with Stella Adler. He headed Ms. Adlers Speech and Voice program for six years.

Tim will show actors the unique Stella Adler way to break down a scene and develop complex truthful performances based on their analysis.
