My Web Blog
-Stella Adler
So everyone has goals, whether they be long term or short term. They're mainly to finish school, to get married have a planned out life etc. You can't plan your life. You can have ambitions that you work towards, but you might not always reach them. Then occasionally you come across those persistent people, who stop at nothing to reach what they've wanted since they were 6. The kind of people who try hard in everything they do, no matter how stupid the subject or homework is. The kind of people who would rather spend time seeing family than go out and drink at all hours of the morning with 'friends'.
My goals in life haven’t changed since I was 6 (apart from wanting to be a plastic surgeon when I was 8… ew). I used to force my family to watch my ‘performances’ in the loungeroom; singing Aaron Carter and dancing to Britney Spears, and then acting out a scene from the Blues Brothers (I watched that movie every day for 8 months when I was 2).
I was always so inspired by people that inspire people.
Fast forward to the present, I’ll be the next Screen Actor’s success story one day in the near future. My latest inspire-ee is the legendary Miss Amy Saunders (a lovely teacher/student thing at Ascot Vale Studio). You know you’re good when you get a SCHOLARSHIP to an acting academy. More than an academy, a life. In L.A., U.S.A., AMERICA… you get it. So this academy isn’t just any other academy, its legendary. People like Robert DeNiro, Salma Hayek and Mark Ruffalo have studied there. Now look at them. Its $21, 600 to study there for two years. I want a scholarship... just like Amy (Amy, you’re my hero).
It’d be like being at Screen Actors 24/7.
Goals for my life:
- Finish School with an awesome absolutely brilliantly great ENTER
- Go on a Contiki tour in the Christmas Holidays after year 12
- Get a scholarship to Stella Adler
- Go to Stella Adler
- Be Happy
=)
As much as I never wanted to say this, I have to...
I can't do Screen Actors classes anymore because of school. I have so much homework and exam prep... and I'm only in year 11! Well I guess its my fault for doing Literature, History and International Studies & Politics. But I will be back afer year 12! I'm going to miss it. Its not that I don't have time, its that my workload is HUGE, and i always seem to have homework on a wednesday night - when my classes are. But oh well.
When I'm in movies, then i'll have an excuse not to do my homework ;)

=)
Well last night i stayed at Allanah\\\'s house, and we decided to put up a tent in her backyard. We failed, so we got her dad to do it. Anyway, we started playing the game where you throw the m&m and try and catch it in your mouth, but then we ran out of m&m\\\'s, so we played truth or dare.
Candy thought it would be a great idea if she got Allanah to skull the half-filled 1.25L bottle of water. Just water, no alcohol.
I was like, "choose something else!"
but Allanah doesn\\\'t back down from a dare.
(There\\\'s this game we play at school called "Talkin\\\' Spit"; bascially you have a mouthful of water and people try to make you laugh...)
So she started drinking it, she was doing pretty well, and i started saying some funny stuff and she laughed.. then coughed.. then choked.. and then threw up.
All in the tent.
Candy and me were tryna get out of there as quickly as possible, and then Candy started throwing up all over Allanah\\\'s backyard. Mainly in the pot-plants and on Allanah\\\'s brother\\\'s bike.
While they were vomiting, i thought i may aswell try to clean it up in the tent (the vomit was only on the blanket).
I grabbed the blanket and accidently grabbed the part where Allanah vomited. Then i started throwing up because i had someone\\\'s vomit all over my hands.
So for about 5 minutes, there\\\'s three girls throwing up all over a backyard.
When Candy stopped, she went and brushed her teeth etc.
I helped Allanah clean the blanket (eewwwww!) and we got it in the sink and she washed it, and then we hung it up.
Allanah got the hose and hosed all the vomit away from the garden.
We went inside, and then she forgot her torch, so we went back out and the smell was horrible.
We nearly started vomiting again.
We ran back inside and slept in her loungeroom.
The next morning, we go outside to see what it looked like... and there was nothing.
No smell, no vomit.
Nothing.
Allanah\\\'s mum told us it was raining all night.
The rain washed away everything.
