About Me

Hi my name is Carmen,

Carmen, after the Spanish opera because my father is Spanish, and Ray, because my mother says a ray of sunshine came in to her life when I was born. That’s also a song she heard by the way.

I fancy myself as a dancer and singer and would love to be an actress one day.

My mother was born in South Africa so I have the jungle rhythm in my blood. If you combine the Spanish Flamenco and the jungle you will understand that when I hear music that has a beat to it, I can’t keep my feet still.

Holidays

Oh by the way, I have done trapeze as well. So, if you see me flying from chandelier to chandelier, don't be surprised.

My Acting

Training

I've just started this year at the Screen Actors and so far I am really enjoying it! I am now attending a Boot Camp through Screen Actors. I have been trying very hard to learn lines and am finding myself loving all the new experiences I have every week.

Work Experience

Over the years, i have been involved in school plays such as Cinders, Snow Bright and the Seven Sumos, The Three Little Pigs and Fairytale Princess. In each one i played a rewarding role and i look forward to the years ahead of me in the acting profession.

Interest and Skills

I love dancing and have been involved with my dancing school for over five years and they've taught me a lot. I train three times a week with private and also group lessons which gives me a chance to make new friends and learn from the other dancers.
