Well approximately a year and a half ago acting was just something I dreamed of, something I really wanted to give a shot, now its a passion..I don\'t think theres a day that now goes by where I\'m not reading a script, learning a script or picking apart the acting as I watch it in movies.

So where did it begin? well it started off doing extras work on many popular television dramas across melbourne, they were great, always good fun and a great experience something that I guess a lot of people have never done and probably won\'t. However the more I did the more I wanted from it, I didn\'t want to be that blurred figure walking pass in the background, I wanted to be the one with the camera on me.

So thats when I decided to take the next step, Screen Actors. From the moment I walked through the doors of screen actors in Ocean Grove it felt right. I begun going to classes every wednesday night and have never looked back, the more I do the more I want to do and the better I want to get. The adrenaline rush and the energy you get from walking off a set or a stage is like no other.

On Thursday the 16th of September myself and a small group of actors from Screen Actors flew to Los Angeles to train at Stella Adler.

Words can't describe what an incredible experience this was. Throughout our time there we had classes in Scene Study, Improv and US Dialect, as well as meeting a working actor over there, a very reputable Manager and also Casting Agent. We all gained so much from it and was great how it really reinforced the technique we are being taught at Screen Actors.

Although it was only a short period of time we were there we crammed so much in leaving us all with a lot to work on. Having now established that first point of contact over there and getting a great feel for the place and for the industry as it is over there my goal for this year is to do as much as i can, save as much as I can and move over there to study fulltime in 2012
