There really is no surprise here…I absolutely love Acting! I started Acting back in my early years in school and as my passion, love, favorite class and desired career, I followed it all the way through, from doing all the school plays and productions such as ‘Once On This Island’, A Music Theatre stage play in corporation with Euroa Little Theatre, \'Life Is A Precious Gift\\\', A touring Stage Play and Short Film incorporation with RoadSafe North East, as well as many other productions with The Eclipse Youth Café’, Shire of Strathbogie such as ‘Shickerd’. I also took out of school training with various Holiday Programs, one of which with NIDA on Tour for ‘Acting to Camera’. I followed on to study Acting in my VCE, where I played a lead in ‘The Girl In The Mirror’ and ‘Smoky Joe’s Café’, in corporation with Benalla Theatre Company. I then moved to Melbourne where I took classes at ‘Drama With A Difference’ in the year of 2008. In the summer of 2009 I took part in the Intense Holiday Acting “Bootcamp” Program at Screen Actors, which I absolutely loved and felt I got a lot out of! In which I started taking regular classes twice a week at Screen Actors in the Geelong studio and have just recently kicked off my second year training here after proving some successful auditions winning lead roles in a couple of Short Films, ‘More Than Beautiful’ and ‘My Father, My Hero’ in 2009.
I’m excited and looking forward to seeing what this year brings!

One thing that is probably most obvious about my personality is that I’m a very crazy, bubbly, cheerful bit-of-a-dork, and clearly not very camera shy! For whatever reason, I love having my photo taken! Like Acting, Modeling gives and scene of gratification after a job well done.
I started modeling when I was about 13 years old. Starting with various photo shoots for Portraiture, then moving into Glamour, Promotional, Catwalk and now Fashion. I have done a number of Runway Fashion Shows, as well as quite a number of Photographic Modeling jobs both Locally and Interstate for Fashion, Glamour, Sports/Swimwear. In 2009/2010 I completed a Diploma in Professional Modeling and every day I am training and working harder to become more successful in the upbeat, fun, creative and artistic environment that I love!

Clowning/Circus Work!
I first started Circus training when I was in grade 5/6 as a way of coming out of my shell and to discover my own natural skills and develop confidence as well as my newly found stage presence. Little did I know at a time that it would lead to new and quite exciting performances and ever strengthening friendships! I’ve trained with the ‘Woman’s Circus’ in Melbourne, where I learnt many skills including Clowning, Acrobats, Balance, Juggling, and my favorite, Stilt Walking, to name just a few. I absolutely loved the experiences and the many staged and toured shows I did with local groups “Wicked Wizards” and “Foxy Princesses” in which most shows would bring, of course a comical aspect, but also with a use of the body and movement create and portrayed a deeper message, of emotions, strength and self-worth. Clowning and Circus work certainly isn’t the most mainstream genre of expression, but it’s certainly one of the funniest!
Dancing!I absolutely love Dancing! I started taking dance classes in 1999 and for a few years at TDA Performing Arts enjoyed ‘busting a move’ to the genres of Jazz/Ballet and Tap. Successfully passing many exams and tests, I won an Encouragement Award in the year 2000. In 2008 I returned to dance classes, at Millennium Dance Concepts, where I took classes in Hip-Hop, Jazz/Ballet, Contempt, and Performance! I still love it just as much as the day I started! I love endlessly expanding my limits and working in the industry, where I’ve Danced and Acted in Music Videos.

As much as I believe a picture can say a thousand words, there really is no substitute for the words themselves. Where else can one simple thing, that say’s exactly the same thing to everyone, but to each holds a completely different meaning and unequally personalized and imagined interpretation.
And that’s just the beauty of it!
I stared writing back in Primary School, where granted the spelling and glamour probably wasn’t that entirely great, but the ideas where simply, candidly unlimited. I wrote a lot of short stories, one of which Penguin Books offered to publish in one of their children’s magazines, however I couldn’t afford the costs at such a young age.
From then on I continued to write poems, lyrics, short stories, to even starting a few novels. I used my own raw feelings, emotions, perspective and life experiences to fuel the inspiration what whatever it was I intentionally and sometimes unintentionally wrote. I used writing as a means of expression and coping mechanism to get through the trials that life throws at you, in particular my childhood, which holds such significance to me.
It was from these very experiences that fueled my own inspiration to write short story and films based on my own experiences and messages to the world, one short film being ‘The Wind of Yesterday’. Some of my other poems and pieces of writing I published in a local youth magazine called ‘Vibe’ which I helped organized and co-edited for a couple of years.
I enjoy all areas and genres for writing, from lyrics, poems, stories, films, scripts, expressive and sometimes clichéd insights to columns and editing.
Anything with a message!

Fairytale Story.
It was in this moment that I felt completely compelled to change my life. I'd looked back on every minute spent, and decided that was not the way I wanted my life to plan out. When I was a child, I'd always dream that I'd be on a stage somewhere. The spotlight would be shinning, the crowd yelling. But to discover your life has yet another meaning purpose is beyond control. I'd never believe I'd fall in love. Never believe I'd fall out, and never believed to fall back in. I suppose I always believed by life was to be role play of a fairytale, the kind that villains and bad people never suppressed you from achieving your dreams. I guess as I grew older I discovered that I myself had to become my own superhero, my own fairytale rescuer, and save my own life from destruction, to keep my mind set on goals and company to pull myself through the hard times. I suppose I always believed there would be another person to pend your life for you. In stead shockingly surprised when you have to complete you life for yourself. With every mistake I think I can vouch a lesion behind it, has been learnt, and for better or worst, the things that shook really hurt. But because of that, It is now, in this very moment that I am able to say, I am my own person. I guess I always have been, but I've been so confused in childhood and adolescent issues to have time to create a character that was I. Never the less maturity and life experience will give you that. But I just find that living the life, is much better then dreaming it. I lay my head down on my pillow after yet another tiring day, and belong another day, which is tomorrow. For I will look forward to what is to come, And embrace it, for it is my life, a lesson to be learn, or story left to be told, ether one, it is a fairytale story waiting to be told.

FEEDBACK AND RECOMMENDATIONS:
14th October 2009
"To whom it may concern,
I am writing recommend Bryony Carter as a hard working, well prepared and talented actor. She played the lead role in my film “More Than Beautiful” and her preparation was thorough and well thought through. She was always on time, mostly early, and was a delight to work with at all times. Her rapport with the other actors was fantastic and rehearsals were both fun and productive.
Bryony took direction exceptionally well and experimented and developed her character brilliantly throughout the rehearsal process. She is a bright, talented and mature person whom I would recommend without reservation as an actor or in whatever field she may pursue in the future."

Honestly I couldn’t say anything negative, and should you require a testimonial for any of these girls, I would be more than happy to give them glowing appraisal!
The clothing client, Musto was also extremely happy with the girls.
I would also suggest to you to put them forward for as much work as you see suitable, I don’t think you would be let down".
