Where do i begin? Ten yrs ago i was welcomed to the world by my dad, sister an of course my mum.. I was taken home to my house where i still live tody. I go to the local primary school an im in grade 5. Im hoping to get into Essendon Grammer for year 7. I have a dog called jess an i use to have a cat called Oscar untill mum ran it over in the driveway. The best advice my mum eva gave me was……..always treat people how you would like to be treated,The things that i like are acting, acting an more acting......ok i do like other things as well like dancing, singing an i love cricket. I play cricket for my school, i love going to the G an watching the aussies kick butt. I really like going down to Toorak an checking out all the beautiful houses( i swear one day im guna live there) I love chocolate cake, chocolate ice cream. Chocolate milk an anything with chocolate. I love old people and I really love the rain. My favourite colour is green an my favourite person is me.(he he). I hate losing but I build a bridge an get over it. I hate peanuts, Mondays and people that don’t like old people. I love playing the piano and I really want to learn how to play the saxophone. Nichole Kidman is my favourite actress an Johnny Depp is my favourite actor,. My goal this year in acting class is to try really hard with my scripts an improv and to get a perfect score of 10, I get lots of 9’s so im working on that 10. I also want to try an win another trophy. My goal in life is to be a rich and successful actor with my own tv show and im guna call it “THAT”S SO BRODY”. Im not your average 10 yr old boy, i dont like alot of things that my friends like but thats cool, im not weird or anything im just abit different. I perfer to be around teenages and adults more than kids. One of my loves is going to the movies, i go about 2 or 3 times a week with my dad an sometimes if we have already seen everything i make him sit through them again..lol. Another thing that I love to do is laugh, im always laughing an if there were a trophy for the person that laughed the most I would probably win. Well my names Brody an thats the things i like.
Here i am at acting with some of my friends. I use to do kids class but now i do teenage classes. Im the youngest in my class but thats kinda cool cause everyone looks out for me.Our class LOVES milo, we are the milo bandits of screenactors...lol...Luke is our teacher and i really like him cause he is so cool and i learn new things from him all the time. Tuesday teens class is a really fun class to be in an everyone is soooo nice.
I really like music an im always singing an listening to some sort of music. A few yrs ago i got hooked on this song that i use to sing all the time an every time i sung it my mum would crack up laughing ( I just thought that she must think im so cute) It wasnt untill not that long ago one of my friends told me that they have no idea what im singing...You see i have been singing oh oh oh oh STABALIZE STABALIZE, when the real words are uh uh uh uh STAYING ALIVE, STAYING ALIVE. How mean is my mum? It might have been cute an funny when i was 5 but not now im 10......Now i always make sure i know every word before i sing it out loud.
Last year I was in a short film called two dollar coin, I played the lead roll as Liam Walker an Sarah Hallam played the roll of Kerry Walker as my mum. Sarah is a casting director so it was really good to be able to work with her. I have made a few short films but this one was by far the best. All the cast an crew were so nice an they even had a chair with my name on it so I felt like a real movie star. I have stayed friends with them all an we even get together an have barbie’s. Sarah is a very funny person an I spent so much time laughing with her. In one scene Sarah had to be really angry an cry so I had to leave the room so we couldn’t see each other because everytime I would look at her she would start laughing. She even painted me a picture of poo!!! The stills person took over 900 shots of us filming so iv put up my favourite. This photo was taken in between shoots an as you can see we have lollies stuck to our teeth.(it was Sarah’s idea). The film is about a little boy (me) who finds two dollars and things it will make all his parents problems go away, it’s a really good film.
Here I am at school with some of my friends an no that is not our school uniform. We had a daggy dress day at school to raise money for the childrens hospital, im the one with the striped socks looking abit like pippy long stockings. Some kids didn’t get dressed up because they were worried what other kids would say but not me, I couldn’t care less. My mum reckons im like salt an pepper, i have to be in everything. It was a fun day an the money we raised went to help sick kids so it was good to do. These are my friends – Maddy, Berivan, Me, Renass, Brooke an Tegan. How cool do we look!!!
Well the best thing iv done so far is being lucky enough to be cast in neighbours, that was such an awesome time. Everyone was so nice. I had heaps of fun on set an even when we were just in the green room an not filming I think I had even more fun. I remember the Neighbours tour bus pulling up at Ramsey st one day while I was filming a sceen an all the tourist got off an they started taking photos of me an filming me on their mobil phones.It was pretty cool. I felt like I was really famous an they were the paparazzi. (lol) When I went to school all the grade 6 kids were coming up to me an asking me to sign their school bags an everyone kept following me around an asking heaps of questions about the cast, it was ok but in the end my friend an me use to hide from them because I started getting sick of all the questions. The 2nd thing that I had a ball doing was working with the Young Diva’s, Dean Guyer an Jessica Melboy. I had a tvc with them for berri juice. It was the best day, they were really nice. We spent all day singing an dancing in the middle of the street. They are the two favourite things that iv done. A couple of years ago i did lots of modelling for kids magazines and a few cat walks, that was alot of fun but my passion is acting. Iv meet some really nice people through acting and have made lots of friends. Going to auditions is really cool because i usually get to see some of the people i have meet when we have done extra work together. I'm still waiting for that one big break to maybe be in a movie or a tv series, that would be awesome and it would mean all my hard work has paid off but if it never comes i can still say iv had the best time trying to get there. Well now that you know me abit better if you see me at a showcase come and say hi........Im Brody Mcpharlane and that;s my life.....

I also enjoy my own company and i love designing my owm buildings, especially hotels. I really love learning about other countries and when im older i want to live in France.
